Kelly Science is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Sales and Business Development to oversee the east coast market for a growing CDMO.
This would be a remote opportunity with a 50% travel requirement to trade shows, conferences, and client site visits.
Salary Expectations: $130,000-$175,000/year + 15% annual bonus

Summary:
As the Senior Manager of Strategic Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for growing business relationships in the east coast market primarily within large pharma within the cell & gene therapy, nucleic acids, vaccines and biologics space.
Job Duties include:
  • Build an active funnel of new large pharma relationships and open opportunities to facilitate continuous business generations.
  • Ability to bring new pre-clinical phase and commercial business prospects
  • Use technical knowledge and experience to drive new relationships and grow large pharma accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer data and updates to salesforce, generate call summaries as they occur and monthly reports on activity, metrics, sales targets or forecasts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and supervisors to design specific marketing campaigns to meet the business goals and analyze inbound marketing data/trends that drives new business.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, biology, chemical engineering or a scientific related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience of sales & business development experience within a CDMO
  • Experience of sales & business development within cell & gene therapy, nucleic acids, vaccines, and/or biologics. Biologics experience is strongly preferred.
  • Technical knowledge and experience within cell & gene therapy, nucleic acids, vaccines, and/or biologics. Biologics experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and strong presentation skills
